Since July 2011 the world has a new State: South Sudan. The professionals of state-building prepare the birth of this new nation with a billion-dollar, 19-point roadmap. Through the implementation of the first foundations of the fledgling democracy, the film will follow Lise Grande, Head of the UN in South Sudan and Pagan Amum, newly appointed Peace Minister, as they attempt to put theory into practice. Added to the mix will be the highly publicized ball of celebrities who advocate the cause of South Sudan in the world media, with George Clooney as the leading figure.
