The programme takes place at the home of TV presenter Thierry Ardisson during an actual dinner party. Politicians, writers, actors and artists are given the chance to meet in a unique and sophisticated setting conducive to discussion, tumultuous debate, “happenings”, the sharing of secrets and other society gossip. Departing completely from the classic talk show format, the programme takes reality TV to a “chic” new level. The key to the show’s success is giving the viewer the feeling that anything could happen within the four walls of our host’s home.
