Founded in 1987, AMPERSAND is a Paris-based production and international distribution company. Our main focus is on producing and distributing television programs for the global market. Following the recent acquisition of the DOCSTAR / EXPLORE library, AMPERSANDS catalog includes around 2.600 hours of programs, ranging from documentaries, to movie magazines, fiction, music, fillers and sports bloopers. Since 1997, AMPERSAND has diversified into production with approximately 10 documentaries per year. This output completes the companys catalog of factual programming which stretches from history to cinema, travel, discovery and all kinds of human adventures and social issues.
