Founded in 2003 under the name Timoon Animation, the company has focused its activities on the production of animated series until now. Since 2008, managed by Boris Hertzog and Sandrine Nguyen, the company has emerged as a leader in French Animation, producing 7 animated series in 3 years: My Giant Friend (52 × 13 ‘) Bugged (52 × 7′ ), Monk (52 × 3 ‘), Fish [&] Chips (52 × 13′), Scary Larry (52 × 13 ‘), Mini Wolf (78 × 7′) and Xiaolin Chronicles (26 × 26′). Today, the company intends to diversify its business to become the Youth programs production unit of Lagardère Entertainment. Now, while continuing its business in Animation, recently marked by the acquisition of rights for the audiovisual adaptation of the famous comic from Editions Delcourt “The Legendaries” and many other ongoing projects, the company also develops fiction projects for young people and intends to touch the whole family. To carry this business evolution, Timoon Animation changed its name in 2012 and became Genao Productions.
